Aaaaah Perhentian

Paradise

So the reason why I haven’t posted in days was because I have been relaxing on the beautiful Perhentian Islands in Malaysia. I won’t pad this post with too many words because the pictures will be able to speak for themselves. Continue reading

Farewell Penang (tear)

Penang Neighborhood

I’ve already shared with you all how impressed I was with Malaysia and it’s people so far. At first glance you’d look at the old and unkempt buildings and heaps of trash all over the place and assume that this place is filled with people who mirror this image. It is in fact the total opposite. Continue reading

ORDINARY PEOPLE…NOT!

I’ve met a plethora of different characters on my journey so far whose comments or actions have made me roll my eyes, smile, or have shocked the hell out of me. Here are a few standout individuals that the rest of the world deserves to know. Continue reading

CHIA MY NEW CHINESE AUNTIE FROM MALAYSIA

Chia and I (Excuse my "Allergy Eyes")

Kick Rocks Phuket!

These “Good-bye/Hello Such and Such” posts will come after each destination for sure.  Again, I’ll give my review based on my highly educated opinion :-) and whatever else I feel like throwing into the equation.  So here are my thoughts on Phuket. Continue reading

Word?

I woke up this morning with a throat that felt like I had been swallowing broken glass the night before, nausea, and what appeared to be the pink eye minus the crusty eyelid. I had a gut feeling the day wasn’t going to go as planned but starting your day off with negativity is a recipe for disaster so I brushed it off and carried on.  I got myself together and made my final calls to my Mom and Grandparents before heading down the street to wait for my “luxury” airconditioned minivan to Malaysia 😐 <— this face means that some BS is about to occur….
