Like attracts like

Must have at least one picture with an animal during every trip ;-)

The 6 hour tour on yesterday was well worth the $450 bhat or $14.30 I spent on it. Since the Thai people I’ve encountered seem to run on their own time the tour actually lasted more than 7 hours. Continue reading

Sabai dee reu Koh Samui, Thailand?

Focusing on my mission

So I’ve recovered from my Kunta Kinte border fiasco by laying low on an island named Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand and indulging in $5-11 massages. I usually have a “I don’t travel to any location twice” rule which is why I originally left this Island off my list for this journey but since it only cost $30 to get here I figured I break my rule for once. No need to go in to detail about my birthday madness but I will say this.. I will no longer be picking up strays during my travels.  😐 Continue reading

Well Helloooooo Bali

Landing in Bali

As you can see I’m quickly making my way around Asia. I arrived in Bali yesterday and the place was packed! I had already read that the taxi ride from the airport to the town that I would be staying in would be $7-10 but when you hear the price in local currency (Indonesian Rupiah), 70,000,  it sounds ‘spensive.  Continue reading
