I usually have a “I don’t travel to any location twice” rule which is why I originally left this Island off my list for this journey but since it only cost $30 to get here I figured I break my rule for once. I never really thought of my blogging as being a part of a movement or a portal into how black people or black women are perceived around the world but I’ve received emails from a few people who think otherwise. I’m reading that I’m tackling some heavy issues that most people don’t often speak about. After a failed attempt at a decent birthday on yesterday, due in large part to the visitor I mentioned in the last post, I managed to salvage my day on US west coast time by indulging in 3 hours worth of spa treatments.
