Overall, Singapore is one of those places where you come to shop. There honestly isn’t much else to do here. I even had to catch myself because I had been to about 3 malls knowing that I don’t have room for anything extra in my backpack. I counted at least 8 malls. This doesn’t include the countless shopping districts, markets, strip malls, and 24hr megastores. The people I encountered weren’t particularly friendly with the exception of a group of old guys in the cafeteria wanting to know where I was from and wishing me a pleasant holiday. The most interesting part of my trip was the cable ride to Santosa and meeting my roommate Delicia, a Curacaoan native who now resides in Holland that has a larger than life personality.
(I’ll post pics soon)
My final thoughts for Singapore? Color Me unamused and bored as hell.
Next stop: Bali, Indonesia
Well you saved money and you didn’t waste time. Not so bad. Unfortunately people will be people no matter where you are in the world. I should have packed you some lye I mean holy water in your backpack.
